In the field of laser pointer, China started relatively late, and there are still some gaps in some technologies. These gaps are mainly reflected in the upstream core devices. At present, in the field of fiber lasers, the two companies in Wuhan Ruike Laser and Shenzhen Chuangxin Laser are the most outstanding. Both Ruike and Chuangxin have launched fiber lasers of more than 10,000 watts, filling the gap in the ultra-high power processing market in China.
For a long time, domestic companies have to bear the high price of laser equipment because of the technical blockade and price monopoly of foreign companies. It is under this scenario that domestic scientific research institutions and enterprises continue to strengthen independent research and development, breaking through the technical blockade, and the laser pointer industry chain is gradually taking shape.
Chuangxin Laser was established in 2004 and is one of the earliest companies engaged in R&D and production of fiber optic laser pointer. For a long time, the market that Chinese laser pointer manufacturers competed for was always concentrated in the low- and medium-power areas, while the high-power laser market was monopolized by foreign companies. Chuangxin Laser launched a 12000W ultra-high power multimode continuous fiber laser pointer this year to contribute to the research and development of domestic fiber lasers.
Ruike Laser was founded in 2007 by Dr. Yan Dapeng of Haigui, and launched the first 10,000-watt fiber laser in China, making China the second country to master the core technology of 10,000-watt fiber laser. Since its establishment 11 years ago, Ruike Laser has developed China's first 25W pulsed fiber laser product, the first 100W, 1000W, 4000W, 6000W and 10000W continuous fiber laser products. On June 25 this year, Ruike Laser was listed in Shenzhen, raising more than 1.1 billion yuan, and will continue to increase investment in research and development of fiber lasers.
China has replaced Europe since 2015, becoming the world's largest consumer market for laser pointers for the first time. With the advancement of the "Made in China 2025" strategy, the application of laser equipment in intelligent manufacturing will certainly be more extensive. The automobile manufacturing industry chain represented by new energy vehicles is facing new adjustments. Fiber lasers will be introduced more and more, and the market space is very broad in the future. And as domestic manufacturers continue to make technological breakthroughs, how will the laser market competition pattern change? We will wait and see.
