The project “Industrial Development and Application of Advanced Femtosecond Laser Equipment” was established in 2012. The project is aimed at the long-term import of China's ultra-short pulse green laser pointer equipment from abroad and strong field physics, ultra-fast detection, precision measurement, fine Processing and medical surgery, and many other fields and industries continue to have huge demand for ultra-short pulse laser devices. Develop high-stability and practical ultra-short pulse laser equipment with independent intellectual property rights, and build high-average power femtosecond lasers with advanced performance. Demonstration and industrialization demonstration to solve the industrialization problem of such equipment, and obtain the main indicators leading foreign products and excellent performance equipment, laying the foundation for the development of high-end ultrashort pulse laser equipment of Chinese brands, and initially forming small batch production capacity. On this basis, the use of these devices to carry out ultra-fast dynamic processes in molecular systems, coherent X-ray harmonic generation, mesa electron acceleration, ultra-fine processing of complex three-dimensional structures, femtosecond laser treatment of human eye presbyopia, and other frontier applications Research, through in-depth collaborative research, has made important progress in the above applied research.
In the past five years, through continuous efforts, the project has overcome key technologies such as refrigeration and amplification efficiency that limit the average power of ultrashort pulse lasers, and developed a prototype of high-power femtosecond Ti:sapphire laser with average power greater than 20W. The series of femtosecond laser products and related equipment have been promoted and applied in 15 units in China: a new technology platform based on femtosecond laser for ultrafast spectroscopy and dynamics measurement, and an experimental platform for condensed phase ultrafast spectroscopy and dynamics. Ultra-fast ion/electron velocity imager experimental platform and high-energy XUV band high-order harmonic experimental platform; carried out high-brightness X-ray generation and imaging experiments and quasi-single-energy, highly collimated electron beam research, and obtained MeV amount Class, 10nC/sec quasi-single-collimated electron beam and ultra-short mesa monochromatic radiation source with pulse width of 10fs and energy of 10 keV; developed high-efficiency and high-precision laser micro-nano cross-scale manufacturing method and process technology , achieving ultra-fine fabrication of large-scale micro-optical components and arrays; building a femtosecond laser flat for eye surgery .
