On the morning of June 25, Wuhan Ruike Fiber Laser Technology Co., Ltd. officially went public on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange and landed on the GEM. Ruike Laser has publicly issued 3,200,000 shares, and the single-issue price is 38.11 yuan, and the new stock raises 1.22 billion yuan.
In 2017, Ruike Laser achieved annual revenue of 952 million yuan. In 2016, this figure was only 523 million yuan. Behind the rapid development of Ruike Laser, it is mainly due to the current market demand for the surge of fiber lasers. At present, fiber lasers have a market share of about 50% in industrial lasers, and they already occupy an absolute leading position. At the root of it, it is because Ruike Laser has mastered the core technology in the field of fiber lasers. At present, the products of Ruike Laser have been exported to more than 40 countries including the United States, Japan and South Korea. In 2013, Ruike Laser developed China's first 10,000-watt fiber laser, breaking the shackles of high-power lasers being monopolized by foreign countries. In 2016, Ruike Laser also led the development of China's first fiber laser pointer industry standard JB/T12632-2016 "Fiber Laser".
The fiber laser consists of a pump source, a gain medium, and a resonant cavity. The gain medium is a rare earth-doped glass fiber. The first fiber laser was invented in 1963 and was not available in the commercial market until the late 1980s. . Fiber lasers have many advantages such as low laser threshold and high gain, which are especially suitable for fiber optic communication networks. Compared with traditional solid-state and gas lasers, fiber lasers have higher energy conversion efficiency, more compact structure, higher reliability and longer service life. As technology continues to mature, fiber lasers have become the most powerful laser pointer.
With the continuous development of technology, fiber lasers, which were originally used in optical fiber communication, began to expand in other fields. In the field of sheet metal processing, fiber laser cutting has begun to ban some of the traditional processing techniques. With its technical advantages, its application fields have also begun to expand into the automotive, marine and even aerospace fields.
China has the world's largest industrial laser market, accounting for about a quarter of the global market. At present, China's fiber laser suppliers have formed a situation in which both the Ruike Laser and Chuangxin Lasers compete for hegemony.
Although, in recent years, China's laser industry has developed rapidly, and has made breakthroughs in technology and market. However, we should also clearly see that compared with foreign IPG, TRUMPF and other well-known laser industry companies, we still have obvious gaps in product quality.
