Dave Sweet, President of MECCO, said: "With more than 15 years of experience in developing and building successful Laser pointer marking systems, I am very happy to introduce a new workstation." "For companies looking for entry-level or low-volume laser systems, LightWriter is An affordable solution that still provides the highest quality and performance they expect from industrial laser marking machines."
LightWriter is designed with MOPA (Master Oscillator Power Amplifier) fiber laser technology. This allows users to adjust laser parameters, thereby providing greater flexibility to mark or engrave various materials, including steel, titanium, aluminum, copper, ceramics and most plastics.
The acrylic casting plate is made of liquid acrylic, poured into a mold, and then can be shaped into various shapes and sizes. This is ideal for engraving because it will appear milky white when engraving, which is why it is most commonly used to make medals and plaques. It can be cut with a laser engraver, but it cannot provide the flame polished edges that many laser engravers need.
On the other hand, extruded acrylate is made from a sheet by a machine. It is cost-effective because it is produced using mass manufacturing technology. However, laser engravers should realize that it reacts very differently from laser engravers. It cuts clean, smooth, and produces flame polished edges.
The 3D printer deposits layers of filaments to build 3D objects, a process called additive manufacturing. Due to the size of the chamber or platform on the machine, the three-dimensional objects created by these machines are usually small. Before using a 3D printer, you need to use 3D modeling software to create a model, or buy a model that will be made by a professional 3D modeler that can be used on your machine.
The machine will heat the filament to melt it, and then transfer it through the pen tip to achieve accuracy. The blue laser pointer uses the digital 3D model created on the computer as a template to deposit filaments on the platform or tray from the bottom up to build an entity that matches your design. The filament can be made of several different materials, usually plastic, such as PLA or ABS. The final object produced by a 3D printer usually has a rough surface, which you can sand to make it smoother.
