In some dim environments and certain wavelengths, you can choose to use 1 mW of indicator power, but in a room with high ambient light levels, if you work at a longer wavelength of 670 nm, 1 mW is only visible The edge of sex, so it usually takes 3-5 mW to get better visibility. Please note that if the exposure is increased to a maximum of 5 mW (Type IIIA), in the case of 0.25 second exposure in the beam, you need to protect goggles with an optical density of 0.7. The highest performance continuous wave lasers all have an external beam sampler arranged in front of the blue laser pointer diode on the collimated beam. It reflects part of the radiation into the photodiode. If done correctly, this sampling method can ensure RMS stability of <1% within 24 hours.
