I've been wearing this green laser pointer every day for the past 4 months (recently broke up in a rage, more on that later). I found it to be a worthwhile investment, but instead of buying another laser pointer, I went for a better high power laser pointer (twice the price). It's roughly the same diameter as the 2L, except for the larger bezel. It's at least as well-designed and well-made as the Infallible, and it costs a lot less. Setting flickering is great for getting people's attention. It has three modes that you can run through... high, strobe, low... they're just another switch flip. I'm still not sure what the real purpose of the flash is.
Laser pointer for camping
A red laser illuminates the car and a two-block cul-de-sac road sign in an upward position and maximum focus. I haven't used it for more than a few minutes in a few different cases, so I can't comment on the longevity, but so far it's worked great. The beam can be adjusted by moving in and out of the lens. I have three or four of the larger ones posted here, but there are actually more than five or six smaller establishments. I am looking for another laser pointer for camping. More than 5 hours in a row. However, the manufacturer also solved this problem, they wisely placed an extra diode inside the lens cap.
For medium to large hands, it is difficult to press the button on the back of the laser with one hand due to its compact size. Beam quality and color vary by laser, but overall I'd say ok, but not great. Adjusting the beam by pulling the baffle reduces the beam's bulk, but also seems to greatly reduce the power output. For the most part, I highly recommend these green laser pointer for the price. I also don't believe in O-rings in water.
