After hitting the market looking for a good product, I stumbled across this product and found it interesting that a small green laser like this packs power. I was pleasantly surprised to find this to be true. With just a slight pull on the head, you can adjust the beam from a wide beam to a very finely focused beam. It doesn't feel cheap at all. I have some military laser pointers that I bought at the "big box" store. They are made of plastic, although I wouldn't say "military grade" as the description claims. The two main issues I have with the high power laser pointer are 1.) no intensity setting to draw less before automatically switching to the built-in power saver and 2.) the way to turn it on is to swipe it up or down (on or off). Not looking for dazzling lasers, just something to use when we're out of power or on the deck at the back of our house. You get two powerful blue lasers that work great outdoors.
How to realize full power output of laser pointer?
The laser pointer has some spots. Now I can stay ahead without endangering her cat. Beam quality and color vary by laser, but overall I'd say ok, but not great. Adjusting the beam by pulling the baffle reduces the beam's bulk, but also seems to greatly reduce the power output. For the most part, I highly recommend these laser pointers for the price. I also don't believe in O-rings in water. However, I think they work well as a one-off spare - in your bedroom, glove box or luggage, garage, desk drawer, etc. Anywhere you might need a lot of light at some point. I like that it already has a battery in it. Everyone with pets or kids should get one! I was a little worried about the cleanliness of the room on my last trip. The room doesn't have to be completely dark, as long as it's dark, the stain will burn away.
This laser outputs at full power every time you press the button. - I use it every day, almost always for short periods of time, and I probably change the battery every other month. It's also very light. As a result, I often need medical laser pointers, phone calls or building inspections, etc. I've purchased two of them and haven't had any major issues. Sometimes the beam will flash in the open position. The green laser pointer doesn't flicker, it just flickers like a short circuit. However, so far this has not been a big deal. Factory settings are perfect for me.
