It depends on your budget and color preference. You don't need the strongest laser for light painting, because your camera can control the brightness of the light/laser. We recommend you to use our dual power laser pointer; It has high power and low power Settings, allowing you to have both narrow and wide beams without changing camera Settings. It is available in blue, green, red and purple. In addition, the crystal inside 532nm has the best conversion temperature. Ideally, you want to use a 532nm green laser pointer at room temperature, which will give you the most consistent power and brightness. However, in cold weather, you can find instability. You may need to heat the laser pointer in your hand or leave the laser for a while before the laser will work properly. At extremely cold temperatures, the 532nm green laser designator may not work.
One of the three green laser pointer we tried was the 10000mW Green laser pointer. It produces bright green light because it provides 10000mW power. Its beam intensity covers at least 10km, it has a wheel that allows the beam to focus, making it more visible or powerful, and it has a safety key lock - not to be ignored for a laser of this power. However, you'll need an 18650 battery to get started.
