To begin, this is a very powerful laser. I can pop black balloons at 75ft (23m) with the laser held in a tripod. I also removed the stock lens and installed laser product. It will produce a tight beam and will literally shine a blue dot on the farthest object you can see (i.e. clouds). This laser has some build quality problems that you would expect to see in an inexpensive yet powerful laser pointer. The threading on the focus lens is sloppy, which allows it to unscrew crooked, and the rubber o-ring holds the lens in place. Keep even downward pressure when focusing to keep the lens even. The inside lip of the battery tube had a jagged edge from manufacturing. This ripped a hole in one of the battery's cover. Also, the inner tube diameter is very narrow. You can barely fit the stock batteries in, which have a slightly smaller diameter than most 16340 batteries.
Good, strong pointer. It shines far ignites, burns.
