Product Reviews
I tested them in my fairly bright living room, with a big picture window, on a very sunny afternoon, and they're throwing an amazing amount of light, and unlike a lot of inexpensive LED lights, they don't flicker when recording video. I'll be doing some more testing over this weekend, and gigging them next weekend, so I'll follow up with more after that.
Recieved a set of these lights about an hour ago. Two of the lights came out of the box not outputting any light. One flickers regardless of menu setting. I've narrowed the power output down to an issue with the powerboard in one of the lights. For some reason the fan is drawing way more than it should and undervolting the logic board (the fixture operates perfectly fine when the fan is disconnected, but I'm not going to run them without some kind of cooling. I'm assuming the other is a similar problem. As for the one that flickers, I think this is just an issue with the logic board.
Decent LED light set for smaller productions numbers. These have a narrow beam, so you will either want to look at creating a light bar with these or picking up/making some diffuser plates.
