What is a Green diode laser pointer?
Green diode lasers are laser diodes that use semiconductors, similar to light-emitting diodes (leds) and are mostly made of indium. These lasers produce green light between 520 nanometers and 540 nanometers. They are used in laser designators, for demonstrations and measurements, and laser movie projectors. Unlike red diode lasers commonly used in green laser pointer, green lasers have a smaller range, so they can project farther in low-power systems and are better suited for use in sunlight. Cooling device: At high power, the laser diode module requires cooling device, for example, metal surface mounted on cooler. A thermoelectric cooler may also be included, using a feedback system to stabilize the diode temperature. This results in a more stable output wavelength and power.

This is a project. I think I'll use a purple beam. How to do this without making the beam look like a flashlight, etc. I want the beam to be as straight as any photon. But I hope the beam is also very thick, about 15-20mm etc. If any modifications are needed, please let me know internally or externally. Also, I want the beam to be consistent up to 30 inches, but 30 inches is just to be safe. Laser diodes are usually used in the form of laser diode modules, that is, modules containing one or more laser diodes and, in most cases, optical and electronic devices.
